i googled the word "beauty" today and these were the first three images that i saw.
sex and suduction has become beauty. i am sad for my generation's daughters.

I'd hate to see what came up if you googled "skinny" or "bony". Probably the same pictures!
I'm tellin' ya, someday the "curvy" women of the Victorian era will be back and we'll all be models.
They are comimg back. It seems no on tell the girls to stand up straight and suck in thier stomach these days and love handles spilling out over jeans (created by the way by the jeans themselves- these girls are not overweight) is desirable.
Ok I know that was so politcally incorrrect- all body types are beautiful, blah, blah. but it's my own personal soapbox.
You are right Hannah. AND Did you notice that beauty has to do with the selling of beauty products and the market place, rather than appriciating beauty as an artist would or a hiker?
Ok, the third picture had to be looked at closely--at first i thought it was a dalmatian dog picture. Come to think of it, they are rather beautiful...
but it's not necesarily the bony girls that are always in the picture. i mean the girl in the middle has thighs at least and the hip bones look like mine and i'm not bony. it's not necessarily the body type as much as it is the way that it's portrayed.
